An Africa where children with disabilities can realise their maximum potential.

Disability should not mean exclusion

Children and youth with disabilities in Kenya face persistent exclusion from essential services due to systemic discrimination, poverty, stigma and unresponsive social structures. They are particularly vulnerable, highlighting the urgent need for gender and disability inclusive responsive solutions that amplify their voices and address their unique challenges.

What We Do

From frontline services to research to policy change, we connect access, evidence and advocacy to build disability-inclusive and gender-responsive systems for every child and young person.

We ensure equitable access to opportunities.

We enable Equitable Access to Services Among Children and Youths With Disabilities by removing barriers to essential health and education services for children and youth with disabilities, ensuring equitable access to opportunities that allow them to thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

We advance inclusion through evidence and insight.

We generate and apply evidence through robust programs and children and youth with disabilities-focused research and analysis, informing practice, shaping advocacy and guiding service delivery.

We also partner with national and sub-national governments and stakeholders to establish key metrics that track progress, address critical needs and drive inclusive outcomes.

We advocate for lasting inclusion and equity.

We advocate for Disability-Inclusive and Gender-Responsive systems and Policies by strengthening national and county systems through providing tools, policies and frameworks that integrate disability and gender-responsive approaches.

We aim to create inclusive, sustainable structures that expand our reach, remove systemic barriers and deliver long-term impact for children and youth with disabilities.
