Tunza - Child Health & Development
Reducing preventable disabilities and support children with disabilities in achieving their developmental milestones and improving functional skills.
Children with disabilities often lack early health interventions, and caregivers face limited support for their child’s development and well-being.
Through TUNZA, we train caregivers and frontline health workers to recognize developmental delays and promote home-based interventions. We provide caregivers with psychosocial support and mentorship, and strengthen families through livelihood opportunities.
81% of participating caregivers applied training-gained skills with their children, 61% reported milestone gains in their children and 88.7% experienced improved mental well-being, enhanced coping skills, and stronger parent-child bonds.
